Gucci's Constance collection pays homage to the character of Constance Chatterley, the heroine of D. H. Lawrence's novel Lady Chatterley's Lover. An unconventional design, with its padlock-shaped case in coloured Plexiglas, equipped with a rotating system. Its padlock can be attached to specially designed leather straps or to jewellery, bags or belts, turning it into a real fashion accessory. The watches are available in three different sizes and in a variety of colours, materials and styles. The large version (40 x 45 mm), in classic colours, features a green-red-green case with a white mother-of-pearl dial. The ensemble is completed by a protective 'case cover' in brown leather. The medium model (35 x 40mm), which echoes the colours of the large version, is accompanied by an adjustable brown leather strap decorated with small applied scarabs. The same green-red-green motif adorns the small version (30 x 34mm, pictured), which is also available in two other colour combinations: a rainbow Plexiglas case with a black leather strap and a white mother-of-pearl dial, or a grey-black-grey case with a black mother-of-pearl dial and a black leather strap, for a sober look with dark highlights. The movement is a Ronda quartz.
