The steel Aquis Date from Oris takes its inspiration from the first model in the collection, which was created in the late 1990s. Compared to its predecessor, the new watch has a slimmer silhouette, especially in the shape of the lugs, crown and bracelet. The hands and hour markers have been redesigned and the Aquis inscription also appears on the dial, just above the date window (at 6 o'clock). In addition to aesthetics, what has changed is the practicality of using the timepiece: in particular, the unidirectional bezel is now easier to handle thanks to the small space separating it from the case middle. Guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 30 atmospheres, the new Aquis is equipped with the 733 calibre (Sellita SW 200-1 base), mechanical with automatic winding. It is on sale at a price of €1,800.
