It is a moment of great euphoria at Lotus after Marc Marquez's thrilling victory at the Japanese Grand Prix that crowned him Moto GP World Champion for the third time, three races ahead of the end of the championship. At his side since 2011, Lotus, the watchmaking brand of the Festina Group, celebrates the extraordinary result and announces the news of the renewal of its collaboration with the Spanish champion until 2018. For Lotus, the link with Marquez proves to be a powerful visibility tool, around which to build different communication opportunities, one of which is the brand's logo, featured on the champion's helmet. On the occasion of this year's championship victory, Marquez sported a blazing golden helmet. Adrenalin, passion for top-level competition and winning spirit are the values that have linked the brand to the Spanish rider for over five years and consistently reinforce the brand's identity, as well as inspiring a collection of watches signed by the Honda star. To celebrate Marc Marquez's latest triumph, Lotus presents a new chronograph, a limited edition of 5000 pieces that pays tribute to the Spanish champion and the world of motor sports in every detail. This exclusive model (ref. L18330-1) elects steel as the material for the case and bracelet, a metal embellished with a dark blue IP treatment that enhances its vigour and energy, combined with the pink gold finish of the pushpieces and hands. Housed in a special case that also contains an interchangeable rubber strap, the new chronograph is fitted with a precious sapphire crystal and features a dial personalised with the number 93, Marc's year of birth and his racing number.
