What better to expect from a prestigious watch manufacturer like the A. Lange & Söhnewhich is about to experience the feverish atmosphere of a major event such as the SIHH in Geneva that is now just around the corner? The answer could be: the new Cabaret Tourbillon, a re-edition of one of the Maison's earliest models. The particularity of this model lies in the presence of a tourbillon, fitted on the L042.1 calibre movement, for the first time in watchmaking equipped with a device to stop the seconds, i.e. the balance and the tourbillon cage itself. The calibre in question consists of 373 components, 84 of which are in the tourbillon cage alone, visible on the dial at 6 o'clock, and is equipped with two barrels providing a 5-day (120-hour) power reserve. At 12 o'clock, also on the dial, is the date display with two discs (one circular and one in the characteristic cross shape). The case is available in rose gold or platinum.
