On Thursday 22 October, Van Cleef & Arpels inaugurated its first boutique in Rome, at Via Condotti 15. Spread over two floors, with a total area of 200 square metres, it is located next to the prestigious Palazzo Nuñez Torlonia, a private 17th century residence. Walls in mordorè beige shades, long curtains, discreet decorative panels covered in gold leaf are some of the main features of the new shop. The Maison's creations are presented inside tall glass bells and black lacquered display cases of various sizes. To celebrate the opening of the shop, the heritage and savoir-faire of the House will be the protagonists of a temporary exhibition: until 15 November, thirty antique masterpieces from the Van Cleef & Arpels private collection will be offered to the gaze of admirers. The boutique's opening hours are as follows: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7.30 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm.
