Chopard - L.U.C Regulator

In Chopard's L.U.C Regulator, the minute hand is the protagonist in the centre of the dial, while the hour hand is off-centre at 3 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock, as in classic regulators. In order not to break the symmetry of the dial, an additional subdial has been inserted at 9 o'clock for the 24 hours, which can be adjusted independently by a pusher at 8 o'clock. This is a much more practical solution than adjusting via the winding crown, where the current time and date inevitably have to be changed. At 12 o'clock, the power reserve indicator gives the remaining autonomy of the L.U.C 98.02-L calibre (over 9 days thanks to Quattro technology). The latest evolution of the Regulator, declined in pink gold, features the new L.U.C case and thinner characters for the indications on the dial: in the hour display, the numerals are now Arabic and no longer Roman. Price: 27,960 euros.
