The new version of the BR-X1 chronograph from Bell & Ross features a material as light and extremely resistant as forged carbon. This is a composite material obtained by compressing, at a high temperature in a steel mould, carbon fibres with a thermosetting resin. Its robustness is also matched by an eye-catching look with a black colouring, a matt finish and the distinctive mottled appearance of each piece, which is unique depending on the way the fibres themselves are blended. The case of the BE-X1 Carbon Forgé is further protected from shocks by the use of hi-tech ceramic and rubber inserts, while the titanium back reveals the skeleton movement, the automatic BR313 calibre, with its distinctive X-shaped DLC-treated upper bridge. Limited edition of 250 pieces. Price: 19,000 euros.
