Tudor - Pelagos

The new Pelagos, together with the North Flag, is the first Tudor watch to be equipped with an in-house mechanical movement: in this case, it is the automatic calibre MT5612, with a bidirectional rotor and silicon balance spring. It is also the company's first movement to be certified by the COSC, as shown by the words "Chronometer Officially Certified" on the dial. Another new feature of the Pelagos is the new blue colouring that accentuates the diver's destination of this timepiece. It features a helium escape valve and is water-resistant to 50 atmospheres. Finally, it is equipped with a titanium bracelet that adjusts during the dive (it contracts when the wetsuit is compressed due to depth and expands instead during ascent).
