Panerai at Expo 2015

Tomorrow Expo 2015 opens in Milan, and marking time for visitors will be Panerai. In fact, a large wall-mounted Panerai clock will allow anyone entering the Expo Gate Info Point in Piazza Castello to read the time in Milan and five other world capitals, chosen for their international vocation and their connection with Universal Expositions: London, New York and Paris (home of the BIE, Bureau International des Expositions) but also Shanghai and Dubai (the venues of the previous and next Universal Expositions, respectively).

The Panerai wall clock is located inside the East Pavilion of Expo Gate, the gateway to Expo 2015, open to all and inaugurated in May 2014 to inform and provide services to visitors to the Exposition. Expo Gate is open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. but the large Panerai watch (2.6 metres long and 1.8 metres high) shows the time even when it is closed. Like all the brand's timepieces, in fact, it offers excellent visibility at night, making it readable even in the dark and therefore visible even from outside the Info Point, thanks to the building's transparent glass and metal tube structure.
