Hublot presents the Big Bang Unico Italia Independent, the fruit of a collaboration between the Swiss watchmaker and the brand of which Lapo Elkann is president and co-founder. This partnership has led to the creation of a case employing a brand new material, Texalium®, the conception of which is exclusive to Hublot: composed of carbon fibre and a layer of aluminium, it has the advantage of being able to be produced in different colours and of presenting a great brilliance, while retaining the lightness of carbon fibre. This new Big Bang Unico Italia Independent is available in two shades, grey or blue, in a limited edition of 500 each. The strap is made of denim with studs, either grey or black, like those normally used in prestige footwear, and benefits from the interchangeable "One Clic" system which will allow the owner to alternate a wide choice of straps according to his or her wishes. It is equipped with the Hublot manufacture movement, Unico, a self-winding flyback chronograph. The watches are enclosed in a personalised Italia Independent case, together with a pair of Italia Independent sunglasses whose frames are made of the same material as the watch, Texalium®.
