Oris presents the latest addition to its range of watches dedicated to the greats of the jazz world: the Thelonious Monk Limited Edition, a model celebrating the unparalleled talent of one of America's finest jazz pianists and composers, as the dedication on the case back reads "Monk Always Know". The steel case, with a diameter of 40 millimetres, frames a dial with a smoky blue sunburst finish, polished hour markers and nickel hands. At the heart of the timepiece is a self-winding mechanical movement, calibre 733, based on the SW200. In a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, it comes with a black leather strap with a steel folding clasp. It will be available from May 2015 at a price of €1,700.
