Alongside the Charles Darwin Foundation (CDF) since 2009, IWC announces a new fundraising project that sees it join forces with one of the most important non-profit organisations defending the Galapagos Islands ecosystem. A three-level membership programme offered at www.iwc.com will now allow participants to donate and receive exclusive benefits from the CDF and IWC. All donations will go towards CDF's science and conservation priorities in the Galapagos Islands. The project allows the watchmaker to further consolidate its reputation as an ecologically and socially responsible company. Those who decide to support this project with a $1,000 donation will become benefactors of the CDF and will be invited to CDF events such as its annual general meeting or an event at one of IWC's boutiques. They will also receive official CDF literature and benefit from preferential treatment when travelling to the Galapagos Islands, including a VIP tour of the research station. Those who decide to support the project with a $200 donation will become CDF supporters and will be entitled to receive the CDF and IWC newsletters and enjoy an invitation to the research station if travelling to the Galapagos Islands. The third option is to symbolically adopt an endangered species at a cost of $20: a positive step towards protecting the animals and the habitat in which they live.
