After Rome last year, IWC opens its second Italian boutique in Venice, in Piazza San Marco. "Piazza San Marco is certainly one of the most famous and well-known squares not only in Italy, but in the world. It is therefore an honour to present our mechanical masterpieces, our philosophy and our tradition in this historic and prestigious setting," said Beppe Ambrosini, Brand Manager of IWC Italia. Located inside a historic Venetian palace, which dates back to the 16th century, the new boutique covers an area of 50 square metres opposite the bell tower of St Mark's Basilica. By using dark wood, chrome-plated steel and leather, IWC's architects have created an elegant atmosphere that reflects the brand concept. In addition, the design team developed the project in such a way that it was well suited to this unique location, retaining the original vaults, frescoes and staircase from the 1950s by architect Mario Venturini. In addition to the IWC watch collection, visitors will also find a wide range of exclusive editions, available only within the boutique network.
