Oris pays tribute to an aviation pioneer, Oskar Bider. In July 1913, at the age of just 22, Bider became the first aviator to cross the Alps. At the same time, he set a new altitude record, flying his Bleriot XI monoplane up to 3,600 metres in the thin mountain air, over the summit of the Jungfraujoch pass. In the centenary year of the Alpine flight, Oris creates the Oskar Bider Limited Edition, with a Big Crown case and vintage style. It is offered in a wooden case, limited to only 300 pieces.
