Longines celebrates its 180th anniversary

Longines celebrated its 180th anniversary at the Spazio Dedon in the Tortona area of Milan. The company presented for the occasion the new 2012/2013 collection and some exclusive historical models from the Longines Museum in Saint-Imier. A rich parterre of personalities from the worlds of show business and cinema were able to admire the new timepieces from The Longines Saint-Imier Collection and some iconic models that have marked the brand's most important milestones, making the winged hourglass famous throughout the world. Simone Rugiati's show cooking and Natasha Slater's DJ set were the special ingredients of this evening attended, among others, by Longines President Walter Von Känel (immortalised in the photo during the cutting of the cake) and Laura Burdese, CEO of Swatch Group Italia. Among the personalities who attended the evening: Paolo Kessisoglu and Sabrina Donadel, Margherita Missoni, Arturo Artom, Virginia Galateri di Genola, Maria Sole Brivio Sforza with Massimiliano Maggi, Giorgia Surina, Martina Colombari, Giorgio Restelli (Mediaset's Artistic Resources Director), the star of Virzi's new film Thony, Marco Cocci, Michele Venitucci, Alessandro Sampaoli, the singer Binario, Caterina Balivo, Filippa Lagerback and Daniele Bossari.
